1991 240sx Hatch SE.

Redtop SR20DET with somewhere around 40k miles

Don't know much about the car - as previous owner didn't himself (he had somebody else do the work).

What I do know that is good:

Upgraded turbo (GodSpeed .70 turbo)

Upgraded FMIC

Autometer Boost and AFR guage come in car, but not hooked up.

Full interior

Dual tip exhaust sounds REALLY nice

CXracing Radiator with dual fans and hoses

Battery relocated to back, done by a shop, so it is quality

Automatic windows all work

5-speed (duh)

NEVER drifted - believe it or not, this is my daily driver.

Clean title

Recently replaced sunroof and seals

Drives good

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE NOT SO GOOD:

Needs pigtail harness in the back - the taillights will not work until this is replaced. Also, it has Type X style alteeza lights that need to be resealed, or just replaced with new rear lights since most people hate the clear alteeza style.

No radio installed

The gas cap latch thingy is broken off, but the door does close (rigged it up)

NO A/C or HEAT

Body kit is molded on, this is undoable but will take some time and work. It is, thankfully, fairly mild.

It is a blue flake paint job, but some places are dull because previous owner did not finish wetsanding and clearcoating. It can look amazing with that finished up...

1 crack in dash

Steering wheel is ebay spec and has a crack on lower spoke and is peeling... but who wouldn't obviously replace this anyway? lol

Front lights don't always flip up, sometimes have to turn knob a couple of times.

Gauge lights need replacing (all gauges DO work)

Probably needs a new BOV, the one on there is old and blah looking (knockoff) and being that the car occasionally backfires, I am thinking its from failed recirc.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overall:

Interior: 7/10

Exterior: 7/10

Motor: 8/10

$3,500 OBO...

How I got to the price...

Clean body 240sx w/ SR20 and stock = 3.5k?

- 250 off for molded body kit... 3,250

BUT add $250 for turbo (it is $300 on ebay) ... 3,500

New sunroof and seals add $200 ... 3,700

Exhaust was $200... $3,900

Box w/ subs ~ $200... $4,100

2 AutoMeter Gauges ~$100 for both... $4,200

Upgraded battery + relocation ~ $200... $4,400

CXracing radiator w/ fans and hoses - $200 ($223 on ebay)... $4,600

CXracing FMIC - $250 ($267 on ebay) ... $4,850

Because the car isn't perfect, obviously I am not asking anywhere close to that ... so $3,500 pretty firm. This is basically the final price, if not - I guess I will just keep it. Had some buyers flake, and if anybody is serious, pretty hard to beat $3,500 for an SR hatch with a clean title and strait body...

I can also INCLUDE (but not installed) a KAAZ Super-Q 2way with less than 5,000 miles on it in an s14 pumpkin for just $800 more - making the price of the car $4,300 pretty firm.

Thanks guys!

I have pictures of the car before paint, being primered, then being painted somewhere as well, so if somebody is serious I can try to dig them up and post them so you can see the quality of work that was being done.

Located in JACKSONVILLE, but will travel an hour or two if interested. Just let me know!

Thanks for looking!

Props for being honest. Doesn't sound too bad. Maybe it's my phone but any pics?

^ There is 4 pictures up there, so yes I guess it is your phone...
However, if you would like me to txt them to you or something, feel free to PM me your #
I have plenty more than the 4 on here, this is simply the basics.

Thank you for the words, and yes I feel honesty is the best way. I can't stand when I go to buy a car (especially one time I drove several hours), and the car is not as described. I want there to be a clear understanding of what is good and bad...

Thanks again for the kind words :)
