Intermittent check engine light

Hey guys I have a 94 S13.

My check engine light randomly comes on for code 32, EGR malfunction.

When my CEL is NOT on, my EGR system works. when the CEL IS on, it does not work.

No vacuum to diaphragm when the CEL is on. What sends vacuum to the EGR diaphragm??

This should solve my problem. Maybe the solenoid is going bad??

If it is like my 95, there is a solenoid on the back of the manifold, maybe it is getting stuck? There shouldn't be vacuum at idle though other wise it will hold the valve open.

The BPT solenoid right next to the EGR? Or the vacuum solenoid behind the valve cover?

I guess I have to get a vacuum checker on the BPT. EGR stuff is expensive!
