Sorry mrmephistopheles not the same. This will be a SD based club in hopes of having more consistency and better organization with meets, track days, runs, etc. As much
as I love socal240sx.org and all the members(being one myself) its difficult to try and organize anything down here and that goes the same for public boards as well. I think
Zilvia.net and the Nico boards are the most valuable tools for anything 240’s and SD240’s will represent them to the fullest.

There is a SD chapter to socal240sx (was very small due to the small amount of people we had before the huge 240 explosion). Socal comprises the entire southern ca region. to include LA, OC, SD. Socal is supported by many shops. In the past we have had many successful events that have happened. Lately everyone has just been entirely too busy to participate in events, aside from regularly schedualed DD's. If you want more SD events just ask them as socal240 and they will try to put them into work. As for organization, socal has some of the best I have seen for car events. The owners festival that we hosted a few months back went very well and we raised some much needed money and food for the fire victims. Sooo I have to disagree with you on that point sorry. But good luck with your club. (not being sarcastic, I really hope it takes off ofr you).
