fuel pump will not turn on when ignition key is turned on, ive tested the fuel pump by hardwiring it in the engine bay and then it turns on. how do I fix the relay problem. Ive checked all ground's and if it ws that then the fuel pump wouldnt work when ignition key is on. HELP PLEASE..

^^^ That, and check your fuel pump signal wire from the ECU. It should turn on for a few seconds when you turn IGN on to prime the system. I can't remember if the ECU acts as a power source or ground source for the Fuel Relay, so find the FSM for it.

we used the fuse from my s13 and put it into a buddy's s13 and the fuse works in his car. but still for some reason my fuel pump will not work unless I hardwire it. and its not the ecu. the ecu light turns on and when I hardwire the relay the car turns on. Im really dumbfounded by it..

The ECU light turning on has nothing to do with your ECU relay signal working.

Ive been working on this problem for almost a good 6 hours and everything I try dosent seem to help. even pulled the fuel pump to check for ground wires and still the problem exsist. has anyone else had this problem?

lol any step by step instructions online anywhere? it seems like others have had simular problems with there rb's and fuel pump relays but its always been diffrent solution's to there problems. Ive tried just about anything...

This isn't rocket science.
Find the FSMs for your chassis and motor. All the info is under the "EC" section at the very end under "Non-Detectable Items".
The ECU acts as a ground for the fuel pump relay. Here's a picture of the system out of a 95' S14 FSM. The only things different here is the ECU pinout location.

Try putting a ground on the fuel pump relay, put the ground on the far left prong.
