I've been wrong before but I think the engine fuses screw in, and the screws or side shims are the contacts. I've been wrong though.

i can hardly see the picture but from what it looks like the section you are missing is only used in the se model s14 so if your s14 is a base model you are not missing anything.

You're missing a whole row fuses.
There should be:
100amp(75 amp of base model)
75amp
45amp
15amp(audio)
7.5amp(A/C)
7.5amp(alt)
This is what you should have.

There should also be a master fuse for ECU. Look in the FSM for the pinout, it will tell you the main power in or maybe grounds of the ECU.

so my new problem is i go to turn the key and the idiot lights light up but when i turn the key off they stay on anyone got an idea why this is iv been searching around and cant really find much on the problem it seems to me that it might be a relay any thoughts

Definitely leading to a relay or something. or maybe a bad ecu? If you straight up unplug the ECU your car should still crank. Unplug the ECU and see if you still have the light problem.
If you don't, borrow a buddies computer.

The fuel pump relay is on the engine harness by body plug. Make sure it's wired up properly. Other than that make sure all plugs are tight, and grounds are good.
