okay so i was driving my s13 today, and i was playing with the boost a little just doing small pulls, i have all stock s14 sr20det parts, it was good early in the day but then i went back out and had to drive to my friends and i got on the freeway and tried to accelerate, and my boost wouldnt push over 5 pounds when earlier i had 10 pounds, i checked for a boost leak and i could find one, but my car wont go over like 3500 rpms until it feels like it is bogging down. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

Could be boost leak as well...that is getting worse and worse and worse. I would also check ground for coil packs as well. I would also check your timing since about 90% of the cars I run into the CAS timing or base timing is incorrectly which mean the car runs at like half horsepower....kind of sad...

had pretty much this same issue today and it turned out the 2 of my plugs had hairline cracks in them after 3K miles, not sure how it happened but changed plugs and she runs like a champ now, just my 2 cents

Does it only break up at 3500 while in boost? or does itbreak up even if just at cruising speed, say 80mph?
Because if it breaks up in boost, but not while cruising, you have a boost leak, and need a tester to find it.
If ur maf is bad, i doubt youd even be able to get down the street.
