View Full Version : CA Feeler for JDM FD efini RX7 1993

The car is a 93 and is not registered. It also has bad water seals. You can start it and it runs but it's a smoke machine and I'd not suggest it. I'd take $7500 as is but I am parting out my 240sx and with that money I will make it a daily driver and sell then list it for top dollar. I really don't want to sell it but I will be moving soon and would rather not have to move all my cars. So I'm looking to down size to just one car to make it easier to move. If you don't think the price is right either move on or pm me. Do not bash this post as it is just a feeler.
The car has very low miles and it very complete. I will most likely sell it with 93 tail lights. Oh and I will put stock wheels on it too. The sticks do have raving slicks mounted on them as well.
Nothing will be traded, sold or parted from this car.
I also started updating the interior so that it doesn't have the 93's smooth and very easily scratched surface. Door panels are still 93.

There is chunks of dust on the seats if you are wondering what those white things are. Car has been sitting for some time. This has the back seats, front strut bar and rear windshield wiper. They do things a little different in Japan when it comes to trim levels.

It smokes because the water seals are out. This means the engine needs a rebuild. The rebuild kit for this engine is a little pricey. It's pretty much just a bunch of gaskets. The good thing is that you most likely will not need new rotors or rotor housing. The apex seal should be good still but you never know for sure until you pull it all apart.

would you be willing to trade your back seats/back rest/rear b pillars for my black bins/divider/rear b pillars? Text me at 323 823 8950 if you would be interested.
Thanks!

Nothing will be parted, traded or sold off of this car. It all goes or nothing. The one thing that I would sell by itself off of this car is the 99 spec jdm tail lights.

Ca registered?
In the 1st sentence of this thread it says not registered.
From now on questions like this will be completely ignored.
This is not a tread to talk about how to register a jdm car in the USA.
Serious buys will pm those kind of questions.
I would like to thank you for the free bump though. That also goes for anyone else with questions like this.

Pm a link to your car's sale thread or if you do not have that pm me with some details. Pictures would be a plus.
To everyone else with a trade in mind go by these rules as well. I will most likely turn down your offer because I am not looking for a trade but you never know what I might say yes to. Just this morning I was offered a very nice trade that I am still thinking about.

Low miles and already blown water seals?
One thing I've found out about turbo rotaries is the miles are not a huge factor. Age maters on these seals. The car has to warmed up before you let it boost before its fully warmed up. That was its second motor. Previous owner must have been impatient.
