Im trying to plan out my RB swap the best i can. Im still in debate on a RB25 and RB26, but thats not the reason im here.

Please, im not asking how to swap and dont need any criticism on how expensive or better a 25 is to a 26 or 26 to 25
.

Now i have an AEM FIC-6 from my previous built and was wondering if i should incorporate that into my new build.

I know most factory turbocharged cars try and limit boost but im not sure about the RB ECU's.

So when i decide to go bigger turbo for more power will the factory ECU allow that or do i need some sort of piggyback to make the ECU happy?

Also. What do you think of a RB powered with a Borg Warner S252 with a Batmowheel and .55 A/R turbine housing. Thing spools like a beast. Wondering if i should swap to a larger Turbine housing though.

Get a standalone. The RB ECUs suck. And yes, I would definitely do a larger turbine housing.

awesome guys. Thanks.

thats good to know because i could incorporate a piggy back early. But ill ditch it and run factory until im ready for the standalone.

I know my turbo with the .55 A/R is for a 2.4 and is good up to 550whp but i didnt think i would need to change to much for an RB 2.5 or 2.6.

Ill switch over to the .70 housing when im ready to up the power.

once again, thanks or the info guys.

Do i need a 1:1 fuel pressure regulator with nistune? I checked there website up and down and it didnt mention anything about needing one, but i might as well ask.
