I know this probably doesn't belong on this forum, I'm in need of help. We need to get my buddy's sentra running again
Car cranks and turns over but doesn't want to completely fire up!
2002 Nissan Sentra 4 Cylinder 1.8L
Throwing code P0011
Any help with anybody else who has had this issue will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

I haven't looked up the code, but i'm betting it's a cam/crankshaft sensor that's bad. It has the same engine as my Altima, and those sensors weren't letting it turn on.

You had to replace both sensors? Was is one particular sensor that was causing the issue? Aha are they expensive?

Yes i changed both. The factory ones were plastic and weren't very effective. I think they even did a recall on the altimas. The new ones they are selling now are metal. The plastic one was going to fail sooner or later, so i just replaced both. I think they're about $30 each.
But, i was getting the p0335 code which clearly says it's those sensors. So your problem might be different.

Ah I see.. I looked up the parts they're fairly cheap. Just don't know yet tho, I don't want to be throwing money away and end up with that not being the problem -.-
What were your symptoms?!

hey i have a 03 sentra spec v which had these exact issues a few years back and threw the p0011 code as well. this code is the same on all the sentra's from that year, regardless if it had the 1.8L, 2.0L, or 2.5L.
As stated above it could be a problem with your Cam Angle and/or Crank position sensors. Best thing to do is first is to clean both of those off with brake cleaner, dry them up, reinstall, and reset your check engine light. if this doesn't remedy the problem then you might have to replace them both.
If the oil in the car hasn't been changed in awhile, it could also be the intake cam sprocket. here's a link to b15 sentra site that can probably help you out a little bit more:
