just a fast noob q: do i just use alcohol and q-tip to clean the mafs? can i spray it with carb cleaner? ive read somewhere that carb cleaner isn't good for sensors?

go to a computer store. or electronics store like radio shack, its called electronic contact cleaner. it leaves no residue. I used it on my old cars maf and it worked very well.

When you used the electric contact cleaner, did you just spray it on the inside of the MAF, or did you apply it with a q tip??

no it comes with a straw you just spray it on the sensor part and it is powerfull enough to get dirt out of the way and all that kind of stuff and like the 300zx mafs they have screens on both sides so you cant get to the sensor with a tip so it works well for those aplications.

yea, i just bought some today. im gonna the spray the crap out of every single sensor there is on this car.
