I just got caught doing 90 in a 65mph zone over at San Mateo bridge earlier this evening. It was weird because the CHP just came out of nowhere and there's usually no pig patrolling that place.. I got pulled over right when I was about to exit the bridge, and I didn't even get a chance to explain my case. He just said you were speeding and tailing someone too close then he asked for my driver's license/insurance/registration, and issued me a citation for speeding and tailgating. I'm gonna contest the ticket as soon as I get it but I just wanna know how much I'm looking at in case I lose the case. I don't think he was able to gun me because he was only referring to his speedometer as being "very accurate" :wtf:

Were you going 90mph? Just man up and face it if you were. It's not going to make a big difference if you were going 5mph less. Your looking at $150-200 ticket. At least you weren't caught going 100mph because you'd pay $500, 2 pt. infraction with no chance of traffic school, and lose your license for one month.
This should be in OT.

I was actually doing over 100mph then slowed down to 80-85mph before I got pulled over. He said he saw me go for it at the high rise and the ticket also says I was being tailed for half a mile. I was too busy messin with the person next to me so I never got the chance to check my rear view mirror. Besides, I was just going with the flow of traffic with 4 other cars. I'm gonna challenge the ticket just in case the CHP doesnt show up because I'll be losing money either way. Not sure if this is true or not but my friend told me they fine you twice the amount if you get caught speeding at the bridge.

speeding tickets ...what are those
o ya it's a bitch man. a ticket for 90mph even on the highway will be like 275 bucks in Cali. On the bridge i dont know for sure but they'll rape you with no lube. I heard of you try to contest a ticket and you lose you cant go to traffic school anymore??!? can anyone confirm this?

Yeah, it's true. When you go to court the judge will ask if you either want to go to traffic school or proceed with the challenge. If you lose the case then you'll have to pay the fine or do community service and get points taken off your record. If you choose traffic school then you'll have to pay the fine?? and then pay for traffic school as well.
Well fight em all...
I got a 114mph in a 60mph in traffic over 2 years ago... 4 days of court, Driving school, and Comunity service got it down to a Neglagence II for $480
And a 55mph in a 35mph about 6moths to a year ago... was $148 I was embarrest I got another and just sent in the cash... hell whats another $148 anyways.
Now I stick right on the dot of even slower then the speed by a few... My friend... She just got one for 5 over for $71... They just went to the max penelty system in Washington and Oregon... Dont speed people... spend that cash on track time!
Of corese I did not listen... Untill I had handcuffs on and went to JAIL! for the 1st one... haha no fun... no fun at all.

take traffic school and pay the fine its the easiest because you DO NOT want a record

First offyou should check your ticket to see what you were written up for. I was pulled over going 22 mph over the speed limit, and instead of writing me up for the speed I waas travelling, he just gave me a ticket for exceeding max speed. It might have been because I burst into tears..haha.
If you are going 16mph or more over the speed limit they are not required to let you attend traffic school, so hopefully in your case you can go so that the point will not go on your record.
GOOD LUCK WITH IT!

i got $200 for 85 in a 45. but im in VA...
To be honest I don't have a speeding record, but I have a problem getting into accidents that are not my fault. I've been into a total of about 5 accidents... 2 serious ones. I've been rear ended bumped a few times. Some guy t-boned me in my moms car. And my last one was a result of a stupid azn bitch that didn't check her blind spots when she decided to switch lanes.

he doesnt have to have you on radar, he can pace you and that is aceptable. if you think he wont show up you are wrong, chp doesnt miss court or they get in trouble.
what case do you think you have agianst him?
