although I have not picked it up yet. Are there any distinctive markings on the bumpers,skirts ect that show it is definetly genuine nissan product and not a copy.

OEM Nissan will always be Urethane. Knockoff is fiberglass/FRP. Pretty easy to tell the diffrence.

Not exactly. I know someone who makes copies and material used is harder and stronger than OEM.
Are there any stampings inside on the bumpers to look for ?

Well, if it's urethane it's almost certainly OEM. I have yet to see any urethane knockoffs. Also nissan parts are generally stamped with "Nissan" somewhere and they usually have part numbers as well. You don't even need to search to know this, it's called COMMON SENSE!

There is not a material stronger/more durable than OEM Urethane in regards to bumper making. The only bumpers ive ever seen are fiberglass/FRP, and Urethane. Dont make stupid threads if you already know what your talking about. :rolleyes:

How is it making a stupid thread. I come on and ask if there are any markings or stamps on the bumpers and I get this.
Maybe it's no wonder I don't come on here all that often. Oh forgot,everyone is meant to be a JDM guru. Ever think maybe some don't really know. Think I'll ask for advice elsewhere from noow on.

look for the nissan hamburger in the inner molding. should have a part number and the hamburger on most oem stuff....

When you hold OEM, you know its OEM. No need to check for markings.
