Thought I would start a build thread for my 1994 Nissan Silvia, I will go back in time and start with the day I imported it all the way to current day, and update as I go over the winter.

Back in July of 2011 I sourced the car, It was 100% stock with a documented 39,000km on both car and engine. This is what it looked like when I picked it up.

The first thing I did was get rid of the stock exhaust system and built a 3'' exhaust with blast pipes exiting out the rear. (The awkward length tips are just for mock up)

Next came an intercooler and PBM intake with Apexi Filter.

As you can see the intercooler was big, so I sourced a front lip to hide it.

While waiting for my Fortune Auto Coilovers to arrive I took apart the wheels I picked up for next to nothing. They were in rough shape and two were even bent. I had the two bent ones straightened and then went ahead and took the wheels apart. (Wheels are for sale BTW)

I sandblasted the wheels and prepped them for paint.

My coils arrived and I installed them along with my Greddy Profec-B boost controller and AEM wideband.

Near the end of the summer I sourced a pair of Kouki Tail lights and a JDM Wingless trunk with no third brake light. The tails went on and the trunk went into storage until I felt like using it.

This is how the car looked for the rest of the summer of 2012 until I got a little cocky one day and had a little to much fun.

A new Kouki tail light was bought and I pulled the quarter out as best I could

Winter was approaching here in Canada so I loaded the car up and to my shop it went to spend the winter warm.
http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m314/Jason_081/image-33.jpeg

Before my mishap I had originally planned on doing a turbo, injectors, standalone ext. And with someone vandalizing the car this fall it was already going to be getting paint work so the timing seemed right.

I ordered a replica kit from Jordan Innovations here on Zilvia about two weeks ago and had a chance to pick it up this week. I fit the kit last night and was pretty impressed with the fitment. The only issues were tight fitting side skirts which caused some cracking in the gel coat and a pretty poorly fitting rear bumper. I hope to get something worked out with Jordan Innovations about the rear bumper and will update then.

So this is how the car is sitting as of last night.

On the to do list for this winter will be:

Take car to body shop for paint
Fabricate 3'' down pipe
Fabricate front bash bar
Suspension arms
A new set of wheels (still undecided on what kind)
Drivers and Passenger seat
Hub and Wheel
Hydro
Misc maintenance
I would still like to make some more power, so motor upgrades may still happen. I will update this thread as things happen.

Ruby Pearl. It's a more-rare OEM color. Looks great when fresh/taken care of!

Nice build so far!

Is that a JZX80 I spy in the back???

You bet, RHD and all. There is also a RHD FD rx7 hiding as well. Anyone know if the 5bolt z32 front bearing hubs are the same as mine?

Anyway since the last post I have got the kit installed with the exception of the front bumper as I'm working on the front bash bar. I also bought a new set of wheels. Weds Kranze Cerberus II's in 18x9.5 +15 and 18x10.5 +15. Just got tires mounted to them.

I went with an Achilles ATR sport 225/40/18 all around.

As for the rest of the to do list. I'm going to rewire my corner lights to become signal lights as the front bumper ditches the stock front turn signals, and I want to keep this car as street legal as I can:) I will be running amber led bulbs for those.

Still need to rework the rear exhaust where it exits the bumper as this bumper sits about an inch lower then the stock one. I will also be adding two stainless tips.

Still waiting on my extended studs and lug nuts so I can get the front wheels on. Needed about a 10mm spacer to clear my calipers:doh: Hopefully I can get this thing on the ground in the next few weeks.

very nice. I envy you guys out there because of how relaxed everything is surrounding JDM cars. No pains with insurance, you can pick them up fairly cheap...maaan :(

Indeed things a pretty relaxed here. No annual inspections or emissions related standards. The roads could be better though! I haven't been out east in a few years, all my family is in YYZ. Maybe one day I'll drive this thing out that way.

Yeah I've got good friends in Calgary and he says between AB/SK and even MB the roads are just horrible. Oh well.

You'd be one in a million, I only know of one JDM S14 in Southern ontario. Im sure there are more...but i have never seen one in person

Got the car on the the ground a few days ago to see how it looked with the wheels. The to do list is getting smaller. If anyone has some PBM spacers for sale let me know. I need about a 15mm to clear my front calipers. I have extended studs so I would probably just punch the studs out and run them as slip on's.
