last nite i went to my friends apt. to check out his PS2. right when i walked in the door he said "oh man, check this out," and he showed me a 240sx on his grand tourismo game. i think thats cool, how u can buy ur car and race it against others...all virtually. i think u can even do engine swaps like sr20's and ca18's, its pretty cool game

Exactly. They're the Silvias and the 180s we never got.

they have naturally aspirated sr's on the gran turismos 2 though. the s13's-s15's also have the sr20det's. no ka's.
Man, I wish they would make these for the PC! Sounds awsome, what other nissans do they have?

try tokyo xtreme racer zero for ps2
i like it better than gran turismo 3
you can be like...any 240 you want
they have 180sx type x then the normal 180s
they have a sil-eighty
they have all the silvias you want...k's q's whatever
then they also have like...10 different skylines. They don't have all the european cars, only an m3 and a porsche i think...then they only have a viper. No other american cars i can think of. Its mostly japanese cars, but you can upgrade everything. I got my 180sx type x going a 1/4 in under 10

Tokyo Xtreme Racer rolls afghan nads. It's totally not realistic. Anytime you hit the gas you peel out. The wangan racing is soooooo not realistic. I love that fact that I can turn on a dime at 130mph in that. If you want a game where you can be the ultimate ricer and buy big body kits, get different EXHAUST TIPS, and get shiney chrome wheels buy Tokyo Racer Xtreme.
GT3 denies all the competition. Only thing I didnt like about it is you cant racing modify cars like you could in GT2.

yep. that's my experience with T.E.R. it sucks. it's a "pretty" game. i guess it's cool if you've never played or somehow can't play GT3 then it's ok, but GT3 is more realistic.

270R only came in one color.... black with stripes down the side, and NISMO 270R written on the rear 1/4 panels. God I wanna make my car look like that (right down to the "stock" rims).
And as for GT2, for best car, screw the GT-One and Escudo... R390 anyday <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

i dunno i personally like "txr2" alot mroe than i liked allof the gt series games (tough i might say otherwise if i had a ps2). i have "txr" 1 and 2 on my dreamcast and i've liked the control alot more than the GT series games. also and about the realism of some things, the hp numbers and what not seem alot more conservative, and at least in #2 on the dreamcast, you have to work very very hard to get the big upgrades, and spend alot of time unlocking them. and its not quite as easy as it may seem, you cant just turn on a dime without hitting something, though i do dislike the fact that nothing much happens when you hit somethign other than it alters the pitch of the car and you lose some speed and health, i wish there was more damage and what not...
"txr" zero on the ps2 is pretty much the same game but the controls feel alot less natural than using the DC controller, and you have alot more cars and mods and stupid extras added in...that and the load time doesnt blow

GT3 0wNz j00!! It is the only driving game I've played that has realistic physics. The only things I would change: 1) while GT3 makes $ harder, it should be harder to get still; 2) more real tracks - Laguna and Monaco rule; 3) only allow traction control on cars with it from the factory; and 4) bring back hp limited (or better yet, car limited) classes - once you own a stable of fast cars, it is too easy to make it no fun.
R390 - eah
I'll keep my F686, F090, and F094...

I only race my S13 K's and my AE86 GT-APEX Shingho(spelling?) Version usually. And usually only race the Complex string.
Drifting the wet course = great fun.
hey whacked, haven't seen you around much lately. What'd you decide to do about your front end?
