I am working s13 with a RB20DET swap in it. Everything is pretty sketchy with the wiring harness so I am fixing the mistakes that lead to the smoking of the ecu. I have come across a fuel pump controller and dropping resistor on the ground side of the fuel pump circuit. Test procedure states to have a .5 ohm resistor after the split to the controller. I am having a hard time finding such a resistor. I was wondering if anyone had any input to this. This is my first time with a rb engine, Im more a scoob guy so any input would be great.

Don't know about the RB but for SRs one can safely remove all the fuel pump control circuitry. I'll look up an RB diagram and check it out for you, but in my own car (which had 0 wires running through it when purchased it) i simply wired a 30A SPDT relay to provide 12V directly to the pump. The ground of this relay's coil is controlled by a pin from the ECU. Pretty simple and fool proof. Let me know if this puts you on the right track.
