My tranny mount is pretty worn out so I started looking at some replacements. What are the differences between the solid, polyurethane, and stock tranny mounts?

If you are not planning to change your OEM rubber motor mounts, then you need an OEM rubber tranny mount. A hard rubber or urethane tranny mount will tear because the soft motor mounts allow more travel; putting more torque (twisting motion) on the tranny than a urethane/hard rubber mount can handle. I have experience with this ;)
If you have hard rubber or urethane motor mounts, then urethane, hard rubber or OEM tranny mount will work... However, the best thing is to match the compounds of your mounts.
If you have solid motor mounts, then you need a solid tranny mount. With these, there is NO damping provided by the mounts... The twisting motion has nowhere else to go but thru the frame and/or down the driveline; so a solid tranny mount is essential. I would not recommend this for a daily driver. Lots of creeks, squeaks etc lol

I had urethane filled tranny mount and it really caused alot more vibration through entire chassis. It did fill great but just the extra vibration was not my thing since car is my daily. Tranny mount was a DIY urethane filled one i did with oem mount, i used 80a stiffness. I may try this again with softer compound in the future. Just my experience.

actually i also have urethane filled oem engine mounts, they really feel great. no extra vibration from those, its just when i added the tranny one described above that it was really vibrating.

Its nismo, its not that much more stiffer than OEM stuff. You get more vibration on car from out of balanced wheels, bad alignments and old busted bushings!!!
