Screwed my door up

So I was rolling my car off the ramps and the damn door smacked a cement post... doh... stupid mistake...

12 hrs later... I'm off to the junkyard for a same-colored door. Wam Blam Thank you junkyard man... and I got a component speaker to boot with the door...

Now to install it.. hmmm...

get a helper, it will be a serious pita to do it yourself.. those things are damn heavy, and i dont think it would be possible to hold it and bolt it at the same time.

or buy one of those "door holders" like an engine stand, but for doors.

Door is on and this one looks even better than the first one. Color is exactly the same which is a plus. Took roughly 2 1/2 hrs taking my time and with a lunch break. I had to swith all the automatic lock/window stuff to my manual stuff, along with my lock and rewire the speaker. Not hard at all.

But yes, you do need a 2nd person to help hold the door as the old one comes off and as the one goes on. I stripped all the parts from the old one so I have duplicates of a bunch of stuff for my driver's side door... might as well...

I do have a power window motor is anyone is interested...
