City considers ban on cups made with water.
The California city of Aliso Viejo was scheduled to vote on a proposal to ban foam cups because of the use of dihydrogen monoxide in their production.
They were worried about this "problem" after researching on what was meant to be a joke internet site stating the dangers of dihydrogen monoxide which they eventually realised is more commonly known as water.
After releasing their mistake the city pulled the proposal from the agenda, although foam cups may eventually be banned for other enviromental reasons.
