I'm in the army and was stationed at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah. I'm currently stuck in korea for a year. I can ask a friend if he is willing to go to atlanta to check it out, but I'm not sure its quite the drive for somebody else to do for me.

yes it is! So much work! All the little detail touches, that not many people do, like shaving/filling the hood and antenna holes, and redoing all the lighting on the car to modernize it and keep it clean looking. Unneccesary parts, lines, and brackets removed from the engine bay to make it so much easier to work on too! Every desireable interior and exterior part you could want for a kouki, short of a major engine swap. With all the drivetrain work, you could easily turbocharge this engine and compete with just about anything out there. The acceleration response is awesome from upgrading cams, pulleys, intake, exhaust, flywheel and driveshaft on this thing. It also sounds monstrous when you open it up - people don't know what you have but they definitely take notice...

And if you need something to tell your friends - don't forget it's the rarest 240 - a 1998 factory 5 speed. I mean how many of those are running around? :2f2f:

This is a SR20 ONLY part, and was never made for the KA, unless you have a SR tranny I call BS and request you post pictures of the tranny internals with OS stamp.

You obviously have never worked on a 240sx transmission. I've had three different 5 speed transmissions in my car so far. Aside from a slight change in 5th gear, the KA trans is identical to the SR trans. And obviously the bellhousing is different. You can interchange the gears my friend. This gear set is very pricey, and is meant for holding very high horsepower. My friend used a similarly built one in his 700hp turbo KA setup. I was planning on a 500hp+ setup of my own, until some recent financial concerns caused me to change plans and sell the car.

Nice looking car. I tend to shy away from stuff that has been painted but this sounds like it was done right. Debating. Believe it or not my old S14 had more room than what I have now and that extra bit of room would really help. *Thinking*

Maybe thats why it hasnt sold yet, with over 30k in mods PLUS immense sentimental value (OP says he loves it since hes owned it for 9 years) one would imagine that he would gladly provide pictures of anything and everything. hmmmmm raises questions.
