Hey all,

I've been on the forum for a while, however, have never really been too active as I was a 240atlanta.com native. I've really only ever either 1) lurked the pic threads or 2) bought parts in the FS section.

ANYWAYS, I've been working on developing this website for a while now and wanted to share it on the forum. It's primarily a video site that shares drift-related video material from around the web. The main idea is to showcase a wealth of drifting videos at one central location. While taking steps to make sure to include the original uploaders (via either youtube or vimeo) summaries/hyperlinks/etc. The site is a work in progress, but we feel it is now at a point where I can start sharing it. I have future plans to expand the site, add more types of media, add a "features" section to showcase directors/shops/drivers, as well as a shopfront selling vinyls & apparel (same as all of the other rad drifting and car related sites).

**We're adding more and more content daily as we come across it.

thanks everyone! site was updated today. front page is now a more traditional blog setup. will be working nonstop to add WAY more posts in an attempt to make a drifting media "hub" page showcasing articles with links to the respective site as well as links to "read entire article". all videos are now accessed through the "videos" tab at the top of the page or can be accessed directly via: tube.driftgnar.com

in regards to the dizzying leopard print: *GONE*, i've now had a few people complain about that so out they go!

And remember if you're ever talking about the site please refer to it in a Dr. Rockzo (metalocalypse) persona, that's how the idea for the name came up among friends and that's how we always talk in regards to it. Because the name itself, the color scheme,etc are meant to lend that aspect of ridiculousness. Really dumb? Maybe. But it's fun! and going around ranting about "sliding the gnar", "embracing the gnar", "shradical", "rad", and "siq" MUST be used often, at least for us. Try it out, it makes the world a more entertaining place. And shradical derives from a flash video pre-YouTube days featuring a character by the name of "cool cat" if I'm not mistaken, one of the most face-palm-tastic videos ever made, this word is integral to living in modern society. Seriously.

yesterday ended up being a huge success! pretty stoked. had a lot of people sharing the material. always a great feeling. even had a share from drifted.com! maybe that's not a huge deal to many, but i think it's pretty siqq. seems the community abroad is starting to take note, and actually like what's been in the works @ driftGNAR. and that's awesome, as the main goal was to make something that everyone can enjoy!

I see a good many views coming from zilvia, so thanks everyone for actually checking it out. 'preciate it.
