Hi my name is Luke. I work at strictly Z in san jose. About 2 weeks ago, some different people came into our shop to look at some wheels i had for sale. They were Volk ce28n's. Anyways. I was buisy with another customer. The people that showed up were driving in a white 240 hatch with meshies on it.
I was told later by my friend that when i was working with a customer they were sifting around the shop. To make a long story short. We had a Z32 (300zx tt) HKS BOV kit on the shelf. We had just gotten in that day. It turns out one of the people stole one of the boxes. If you have seen or purchased it let me know who it is, we wont call the police, just give it back!. If you bought it we will pay you back for it.
The probem is. HKS doesnt sell these independantly, they dont sell the flanges independantly either. So basically, we have to pay $600 and somthing for a whole new kit.

The flange on the bov is about 1.25" diameter about 2" long and has a 45deg bend in the middle. It is also cast aluminum. The box for it will say: vg30dett, or z32.

Please let us put an end to stolen parts, and for the people stealing watch out. If your a moderator please make this thread sticky.

You should check up on the customer you were helping... He could have been with those people and acted as a distraction...

Something tells me that they didn't buy the wheels if they stole parts while they were there ... I could be wrong, but that would be very odd.

Thanks for the replys guys. The mesh wheels were, faded blackish color. The guy also said he was buildng a kat.

Why were you harrassing Hypertek about this. he doesnt even have a white hatch or meshies. Dood he is way down in so cal. how could he have gotten it. how the hell you get his number also. that sh*t ain't cool how you went about it :down: accusing him of stealing the BOV. besides 2weeks ago we were at D1.


I kno it sux having that happen. doesn't mean you go accusing others because of similarities. Also his BOV is for SR20, hes had it in his room over 7months now.
