I'm swaping in my sr into my s13 hatch. But when I tried to mount the tranny up the holes from the crossmember doesnt line up with the holes to the frame. Its the same crossmember I used for my ka and I have peak performace tranny mount. Do I need to redrill the holes in the mount for it to fit. Please help. Thank you

no re-drilling, the ka and sr crossmembers are the same.

1)Put the tranny mount on the Trans first
2)Jack up the tranny at the end to angle it
3)while tranny is up bolt trans member to frame
4)lower tranny to Trans member lining up trans-mount bolts up to trans member holes
5)....come back here post results????

it almost seems like my trans is sitting sideways. when i look through the shift hole the trans is off to the left like it needs to move to the right but i cant seem to move it. any sugestions on what it might be?

THis and stick a screwdriver to pull the crossmember and line up the holes. Just make sure you hand tighten the damn bolt in. It doesnt take much to cross thread them. You cross thread these, it would suck for you.

Was your KA an auto or manual? If it was an auto, you need to source a MT crossmember. IIRC, AT/MT crossmembers are different. Hopefully this isn't the case and the advice above puts you in business.
