PRICE DROP AGAIN!!! $500 cash if SOLD BY FRIDAY!!! dont pass this up people!
Whats up Zilvia, Its come time for me to get rid of my project. Its a 1985 Cressida MX-73 that i was going to rebuild or swap since the original 5m had rod knock. But since I leave for boot camp on Valentine's Day, I've come to the conclusion its not worth me keeping the car. So therefore I'm putting it up for sale here. I'd like to see it go to a good owner that will actually finish putting this car back together and get it running instead of it sitting in my garage until i return home.
Onto the car:
This car has ALWAYS been garaged, from my understanding, the previous owner was an older couple and this was their weekend car. It rarely saw rain and never saw snow. It was garaged whenever it wasn't being driven.
This is probably one of the CLEANEST New England shells out there currently!!
1985 Toyota cressida mx-73 sedan
97k miles 5m-ge/auto
all original
1 owner
clean title
NO RUST
stupidly clean interior
no dents
The car will come with 2 sets of wheels, the original stock cressida wheels and a set of no-name rattle canned 17's with decent tread 225/45/17 front and 245/45/17 rear.
The car is incredibly clean, 1 owner, all garage kept. The car is 99.8% rust free. the only two known rust spots is a surface rust patch above the drivers tailight (pictured) thats the size of about a nickel. And the rear bumper support is rusted out. (Go figure a piece of sheet metal would be the first thing to rust)
Currently, for the thread purpose, the car would be considered a shell, I have the motor and tranny in my garage and if the buyer wishes, i will include them in the sale. If not then they will be scrapped. On the motor itself, what has been done is I've stripped everything down, checked everything, and replaced the bad connecting rod. The cross hatching on the pistons is beautiful. The only thing left to do is turn down the crank and get new journal bearings or just get a new crank.
Im interested in either trades or cash, doesn't really matter to me as long as its interesting. Price wise i really dont know what to ask. Pricing on cressida shells are spotty, some expensive, some not expensive. With that being said, because of the cleanliness of it being a NORTHEASTERN car and in such incredible shape.. Price dropped to $700 OBO. Now by no means is this firm. Its JUST A PRICE. dont be afraid to offer me, lowballs will be laughed at.

Everything about this car is stupidly clean, the interior is immaculate. no rips, stains, NOTHING. Same for the exterior, also stupidly clean.
