I tried everything that was listed on another thread. I checked too see if my TPS was good and it is, the output voltage when at warm runnding condition is 0.45 volts like it's supposed to be. I adjusted the idle screw and it only goes from 1,500 - 2,000 rpms. Checked my throttle cable and it's fine it's not giving it extra throttle. I also disconnected my 02 sensor to see if it would improve driving and it didn't. So what else could it be? Any help is much appreciated thank you.

a vacuum leak would be my guess. Thats where I would start first. Then if that doesnt help, run throttle body cleaner through the iacv hose and throttle body. If that doesnt help, then most likely someone messed with your idle cable. But try everything else BEFORE adjusting the cable.

Its probably your IACV stuck open. if the IACV is anything like the ones on SR20's they can be a real pain

Check your Engine temp control sensor.
make sure the connection is good and corrosion free.
have you also tried cleaning the IACV? by removing it and what not.

ok i'll check both tomorrow and let you know. Also i tried timing my car today but when i put the light too it, the timing marks moved around so much I couldn't get it too stay in one spot to get it at the right notch. do you know why that is?
