Hey guys I've searched every related forum and haven't found an answer. I drove my car last night and it had no issues. I went out to drive it this morning with a friend, start it and it wont go into gear. Got out check Master cylinder fluid to discover it's below the low mark so I fill it up. My friend fills it up and I pump the clutch (car is on) and he notices it bubble. I drive it and it shifts with no slip but the clutch feels softer and sticks on the way up. I park the car and come back 3 hours later to drive it. press the clutch and it goes all the way to the floor... I can pull it up with my hand but pushing it just makes in stick to the floor.. From research I've found that it would be a good idea to bleed my slave (will get to it tomorrow). Other then that theres a chance my Master cylinder needs to be replaced? I have an s13 240sx hatch with a ka24de just under 120k miles with oem clutch and master and slave. Clutch pedal is also squeaky idk if thats relevant. Anyone experienced this before?

You got a leak somewhere, it could be a leaky slave cylinder or a bad mastercylinder.

I had a similar problem on my 240. The pedal felt softer and would get stuck on the way back up, and sometimes it wouldn't go into first gear. I changed my slave cylinder and bled the system and it fixed it. So check your slave cylinder it might be that.

Apologies for being a noob but what do I check for? I check the mc lines and theres no visible leaks. Update: slave has not been bled yet today but i decided to pump the clutch to see if it did anything and it did in fact gain pressure and will spring back in place now but still sticks on the way up and feels horrible. it only engages on the last half of the pedal.

Find leak, bleed slave.

Look where your clutch pedal is, under your dash. Look at the rod that get's pushed when you push on your clutch pedal.

Mine leaked there (more like exploded), and I had to replace my master.

Without the damper loop in place, it makes bleeding the line a breeze.

How to properly bleed your clutch/brakes:
Get a clear bottle and a spare vacuum line. Fill the bottle with some brake fluid so the hose end would be submerged in it. Attach the other end into the bleeder. You pump the pedal atleast 10x, hold it, then pop the slave cylinder bleeder open, then close it again. When you pop it open, you should see bubbles come out of the line inside the bottle. Do this until you stop seeing air come out of it and MAKE SURE THE RESERVOIR DOESNT DRY OUT!!!

You are awesome! I just deleted the clutch dampener and replaced it with an agency power auto to manual 52 inch ss braided clutch line straight from the mc to slave and it fixed the problem! but im not 100% sure i did it right.. the line seems to small and is routed underneath where the hardline was and lays on the transmission. Can you please take pics so i can get a general idea of where it should be routed? and how do I adjust the clutch pedal i know theres a pushrod so i adjust it to where its farther away from the pedal?

soo I came to my car today and the pedal was stuck to the floor.. pumped and it brought itself back up again but after 5 min again to the floor.. bad mc or slave? or i bled it wrong?

Change your master cylinder. I had a similar problem and my master wasn't building any pressure at all.

You sir were correct. Changed the slave and master yesterday. Noticed both were leaking out of the rubber boot... runs like a champ!. Thanks for all the help guys! greatly appreciated!
