I have tein he's on my S13 and lowered it so there is no wheel gap anymore, with a little negative camber I have the top of the tire sitting about 1/8" inside the wheel well. I rolled all 4 fenders and removed the front fender liners, under hard cornering I get rubbing on the front tire, which ever is the outside on the turn. I think it may be hitting the piece of metal thats next to where the wires are, has anyone else had this problem, can you just cut that part that sticks down?

2nd question is how can I protect all those wires in the drivers side front wheel well, it already rubbed through the plastic loom and peeled the insulation off 2 wires, I have it all ziptied out of the way now but I was thinking of putting several welding rods in there so if it does rub again it will just rub against some rods instead of the wires, Does anyone know a better way of protecting these?

I plan on raising the car a little anyway because all I really wanted was zero gap, I dont need it to be tucked at all, but I would still like to take these additional steps to prevent future problems.

Yep... There was a how-to on this somewhere... You remove the fender and run it through, then put the fender over it. I also need to do this at some point. I rub, but right now I just have lots of electrical tape covering it, and replace it when it gets worn out. Me=Lazy :D.

so if you rub the wires do you probably rub that piece of metal next to them right? it doesnt seem to have much structural support, i think I can just cut notches and fold them over some.

don't cut that metal out or cut notches in it. just get a 3lb sledge and fold it over.

I was stupid so i cut the harness haha, but it worked. then i rerouted them. I dont recomend cutting tho unless yur brave or stupid haha. U can use pliers (the thick ones) and bend that metal thing then hammer it flat. no need to cut slots.
