ok so i was running a z32 MAF on my s2 rb25 and it would run weird (wouldn't let me smash without bogging) and now i have a rb25 s2 MAF and it runs alright but on the freeway it sputters and bogs at around 4-4,200 rpm and sometimes it wont catch idle good it would just go up and down between 300rpm and 1000rpm until it grabs good and idles good again. now from rialto to la its less than a quarter with the z32 and with the s2 it takes almost a full tank!!! ill try to post a video up but from the sounds can anyone help please

you cant use the z32 mafs, it reads different. only proper way to make it work is with using a SAFC or engine management system.
as for the idle problem are you recirculating your bov or venting to atmosphere?

not sure about your bogging and sputtering issue seems like your running really rich,
is your tps set correctly? check for boost leaks

Check your TPS as mentioned above! Use a multimeter to make sure that you are getting correct voltage to the TPS.

I had a problem like this with my MAF and it had turned out that some of the soldering had come desoldered inside the MAF. I opened it up and resoldered the pins and everything worked great.
