I found a cheap S14 that appears to have some roof damage. Looks like a tree fell diagonally across the trunk and roof. Any experienced body guys know what kind of work would need to be done?

I wouldnt waste your money on it... Itd be more to fix, properly atleast, than it would to find a decent zenki. If anything buy it and part it out.

NO... I wouldnt pay more than $500 for that car. You can find a base model Zenki that doesnt have a smashed roof for $1500-2000. That is not cheap.

Not even worth that.
Crappy wheels. Stock body work, stock interior, stock engine.
There is nothing on that car I'd want. You'd need a roller to fix it.

I don't think the word clean needs to be on any description of any part of that car. Only thing its good for is doing some kind of vert and even then its more of a joke than anything else.

This car was in an accident already, you could tell from the line going across the body and the rear bumper(different shade of white).

That "line" is a crease (for lack of better word) in the body from Nissan. All S14's have them. The black line is a pinstripe. Bumper may have been replaced, repainted, etc.. Doesnt mean it was in a wreck previously.

I'm going to go look at the car since it's right up the road. It's hard to find 240s in my area that aren't riced to death. The fact that the car is completely stock is a plus for me. It looks like the guy was taking good care of the car then nature took it's course :\

Yeah.... cause have a smashed roof is sooooo much better than crappy undersized wheels or a GT-R badge on the back of the car with chrome washer sprayers. :picardfp:

Also, OP - the vert suggestion is a joke.
They are talking about cut the roof off with a sawz-all and just ride it out. You'll have open body panels and no roof ever.
To actually do it right... like add a convertible roof would be a completely custom one off job. If you don't know how to do that now, you will never be able to do it.
Also... OMFG that was hard.

Trees and branches fall on cars all the time! This type of damage can't be uncommon i'm just curious if any bodyshop guys have done work like this before and what was done.

take the photo and go to a body shop then. They would need a new roof to graft on the car, plus windows.
Huge PITA only worth it on rare and exotic cars.

Why dont you go see how much a new rear quarter window is from Nissan since they're the only one who would have it. Once you find out how much they are, you probably wont wanna get this shit. You're looking at atleast $5k to fix that.
