I was looking for the Mr. C's short shifter, but someone told me that I think its was OBX or B&M or was it pilot? well one of them where the same as the Mr. C's can some one tell me which on was it? I am doing a SR20DET swap this spring!!! and It need to be good for that tranny. Thank all.
C's Shifter is the original and then came Pilot and then OBX that are copys of the C's Shifter. Dont buy the C's, its a rip off. The OBX and Pilot are good for the money.
Best shifter is the B&M but is hella exspinsive.
If you want a 1 peice then you can find a Nismo shifter or get the Monkey Magic one for $120 from IPNMotorsports.com.
They will all work on the KA and the SR.

I sort of bought a B&M one for my boyfriend... well... I was gonna buy the whole thing, so I paid $100 for it to be ordered, and my boyfriend wound up paying for the rest ($156), but it definitely made a big difference in his car ('96S14). It definitely feels strong and has shortened the shifts significantly. I would recommend it .
i wish i had the dilemna of pickin a short shifter, but NOOOOOOOOOOO i have to have a #### automatic <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('>
Damb! Wish I didnt get up so late in NJ so I could met up with you two in Chicago and drove his car with the B&M Shifter!
Your a badass GF. Wish I knew of girls that knew to buy the nicest short shifter there is.

Silviaguy, B&M honestly does kick ass. I find it kinda hard to shift from first to second sometimes (after the car is started up and ran for a few minutes), but other than that it kicks ass.
AJ, I don't! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

S13Grl, I dont understand so you mean when the car is cold? or after the car is warmed up? Does anyone else with the B&M have the same problem? or it just S13Grl?

If you just start the car, and the water temperature is say halfway between cold and it's normal operating temperature, you may have a little bit of difficulty getting it from first to second. Or I do, at least, but then again... I'm 5'3 and I weigh 120lbs with shoes.

S13Grl, Where did you pick up your B&M shifter? $156 is pretty good price...or does anyone out there have a better price?

Alright, I gave $100 for it to be ordered for my boyfriend's '96 S14. He paid the remaining balance of $156 or so on my protest! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> ($256 total)
But, it was ordered through a local shop called Driver's Image. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
