Well Today i got everything connected and worked on getting it running. After awhile testing grounds and all, went to start it and it wouldnt start, had a fuel pressure gauge on the line, read fine. Checked wiring stuff and didnt find anything, so we connected some propane to help it along. With the propane it started right up and after idling a little we pulled the propane and it ran great. But, even after that.. the car will not start on its own. Anyone have any ideas? Dirty Injectors or any known issues when first getting these motors going. Thanks

Does it try to turn over? Alternator? Starter? Fuel Pump?

We had a battery charger on the battery just to keep it up while we tried. The motor turns over with at problem. Like I said, when we gave it some propane through a vaccum line to the manifold, it started right up. And after that we could remove the propane and it would run fine. Also, As i said there's fuel pressure since we had a guage on the line and it was reading fine. 35 or so while running and 40 when you initially turn the key on and the pump powers up.

I'm guessing your orange start wire by the ECU is not hooked up. It tells the ecu that the key is in the start position. This causes the ECU to inject extra fuel when the car is trying to start to help it get started. Thats why it started fine with the propane but wont start without it.

it was a wiring issue. Got it resolved today. We had only 3 volts running on one of the power wires.. I forget which pinout it was right now. But anyway, we got it up to battery voltage and now the car starts instantly and idles great. Took it around the block a few times, Makes 7 psi just fine and the AF guauge read well with green to blue when in full boost.
