I'm looking to see if there is any interest in my built sr20det. It made 448HP and 410TQ with the previous owner on 28psi. Many of you are thinking, Well hodge why do you want to get rid of that bitching piece of ass getting machinery!! Well here is the reason.

I bought the car a few months ago and man it pulled very very hard. After two days of owning it I broke a rocker arm, which being new to the SR platform was not sure why this happened. Turns out this is a fairly common problem with the SR's and the previous owner had a rocker arm pop off on him also. I replaced the rocker arm and bled all the lifters and it still runs fine. Took it to Chicago to get it tuned and the vehicle seemed to be low on power so it was not pushed any harder.

So I'm seeing if there is any interest in the engine because I do not want to use the SR platform anymore and do not want to start looking into the issue. My first thought would be that when I broke a rocker arm it may have bent a valve slightly. There is no pinging noise or any other abnormal engine noise. I do not believe that the engine is junk at all. I would not be trying to sell it if I knew it was trashed. Turbo is good, no shaft play and it is holding boost great.

I do not need any bullshit comments or anyone thinking they know what the problem is. So please keep all of that to your self. If you are interested and have the money , I can set up a time for you to come and check it out yourself I have nothing to hide with this engine. Although after a few days I will be taking the car to my parents house to start to take the engine out. You can still come look at it just will not be able to hear it run.

I WILL PART IT OUT ALSO!!
Intrested in LS1's also.

The Place that I planned on pulling the engine fell through. I will post back up when I have the engine out. Sorry for the delay on posting this, I've been trying to find another place. As for now if I cannot find a place I will sell the car as a whole.
