Pretty hard to describe this problem while searching. Me and my friends are all helping out in puting an Sr20 into a new shell after he crashed his other 240,
The problem is there is a very slow ticking noise coming from under the valve cover, the car idle's perfect but, when revving the car you cant hear it until u let off the throttle, you then hear a ticking noise, the higher you rev the more it ticks. Sounds like its coming the outside of the valve cover nearing cylinder 1. Any idea's?
We think it could be a rocker arm, fuel pump, or a lifter.
