I recently put a hydraulic ebrake in my car inline with the rear brakes. When I pull the ebrake while driving it slows the car down but it doesn't lock up the brakes. Im not sure if I bled the brakes correctly but I would pump the brake crack the bleeder and when the foot pedal would go to the floor I would then pull the ebrake all the way back until it bottomed out. Close the bleeder and pump the brakes back up until the ebrake came all the way back up, then do it again. I'm almost positive there's no air in the lines. I have red ebc pads and 215/45/17 wheels. My brake calipers are stock s13 and only like 2 months old. I've read that maybe the wheels are too big to lock for stock calipers? What can I try to make my rear brakes lock? Thanks.

Im running a dual z32 caliper kit with the ksport handle and 3/4" MC. I had the same issue the handle felt super hard but would not lock up unless i took both hands and pulled with all my strength. i put about an 8" extension on the Ksport handle and it locked them up alot better but then bent the aluminum ksport handle. So now im making an all new set up with a 26" steel handle and im hoping it will create enough leverage to lock up the wheels easily. just is lame that all this leverage is required, when the stock handle did it so easily on the stock ebrake setup...
i dont think the wheel size is an issue im running 18x10.5s with 245s

I've never understood the point of hydraulic e-brakes on stock rear brakes... lol

Dual rear calipers and good pads and your set. My handle is only 16" and i can lock em up at any speeds. When I say good pads that means not some cheap autozone crap, get some nice ceramic pads something high dollar.
