I recently bought a LS1 swap from a friend's camaro that burnt down so I couldn't let it go. I've been doing research, looking and compares parts and prices such as the sikky mount kit and ebay mount kit along with Plug-N-Play harness and I realized I'm playng for some stuff that isn't required.

List of what I've found so far:
Sikky kit $1750+
ChaseBays Harness $599.99+
Sikky wiring service $499.99 or $399.99 if you buy the mount kit

Parts I found seperately
GTO oil pan $120
Custom Driveshaft $275
Ebay mount kit $250
Wiring services local performance shop $300-400 with me providing S14 and LS1 harness.

My real question is has anymore here done that swap with the less expensive mount kit? Were there any problems mounting the swap? Any modifications needed to properly sit the swap? Any tips as far as fuel lines, p/s, a/c if possible and custom exhaust. I don't mind spending money, but I why spend if there is no need? Thanks!

if you want a complete drop in swap kit, i would go with fueled racing ls1 swap. but if you have fabricating skills it can be done way cheaqper by putting your own parts together. research before spending lots of money

All the information you need is there. I have the Fueled Racing kit. They did my wiring as well. I have a good grasp of basic electrical principles and could have done the wiring myself but it was totally worth the $300 or so for Fueled to do it for me. Fired up the first time. Good luck!
