Just a quik non-240 topic. what software do you guys use to record, track and edit your mixes? i am currently using sound forge, but i can't track out my mixes. it sucks having one track 73 mins long. i need to be able to record, track and burn without pauses between tracks.
thanks

I use Cool Edit. Search for their webpage, they have alot of cool addons and such and its ALLLLLLLLOT cheaper then the stupid sound forge.

Not a DJ, but I think ProTools can do everything you need. The free version can be downloaded off their site.

I had the same problem too ...You can use soundforge to record, CDRCue sheet editor to cut tracks out of your long file. Then you can use Nero Burning Rom or CDRwin to burn your cd with tracks in the file.  Works great. CDRCue is a shareware program but you can "work" around it.

Here's the site for CDRCue sheet editor:

You'll</a> have to look around for CDRwin..i got my copy from my brother. &nbsp;BTW, what do you mix?
