A little confused on exactly how an all new system would have to be wired up. I have searched but I need to clarify the information that I have gathered before I blow a ton of money on a setup only to have to spend more and have someone else install it.

I currently have all factory items in the car including the factory amps mounted in the trunk. Im planning to replace this with components in the front and coaxial speakers in the rear. Going to mount the tweeters in the factory location so the setup looks as stock as possible. The headunit will be replaced and I will mount a new amp in the back (possibly where the current ones are).

Now here is where my confusion comes in. I saw the site that shows how to build an amp bypass for the stock system, but I'm hoping I dont have to do that since I'm not using any of the stock equipment. With that said, do I just hack up the stock harness and if not which metra harness should I get. I also saw something about some wiring that would need to be done to something dealing with the factory amp connection behind the passenger side airbag.

I've also seen it recommended to keep all the factory speaker wiring since it saves on a ton of work when dealing with the door panels and tweeters.

Any help would be appreciated.
