i had some one put in a cd player for me, i think they might have shorted somthing, but all fuses are good, car cranks but doesnt turn over, i dont think fuel pump is turning on, car starts up with starting fluid but dies when given gas, tried bypassing the fuel pump relay, no go,

could the ecu or fuel pump be fried just from a radio short?

Cranking = turning over.

How long does the car run after being started with starter fluid? Does it run until you hit the accelerator?

im pretty much stumped guys, not sure what to do next. any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated

got new ecu fixed the egi relay problems,but car doesnt wanna idle unless maf is unplugged,
got new maf still same problem, traced out the maf harness all good
car also bogs down when more than 10% throttle is applied.

disconected the tps while idling with the maf unplugged, car dies

who installed the radio lol that shouldnt have done a thing to the motor. if it wasnt ur buddy or someone take ur car to that audio shop and have them fix it and it deffinatly sound like its in limp mode but its usualy always the maf and u said you trace the harness but did you measure the maf it could be posible thatthe one you bought is bad too. and back to what frank posted will the car run aslong as you dont touch the throtle?

the radio is out of the car right now, the car runs when the maf is unplugged, and revs up to 2500 if you lightly press on the throttle (10% ish) bogs down if more,
