fuel pressure dropping to 0

here's whats going on with my car, when the ignition is on i hear the fuel pump priming the fuel pressure goes up, and as soon as the fuel pump stops priming the fuel pressure drops to 0 (no holding like it should be)

Any ideas on what to check?

I forgot to mention. After i get the car to start the pressure holds fine i dont see variation on the pressure.

Sounds like a bad fuel pressure regulator to me.

not all fpr's hold pressure. my tomei slowly goes down within 30 sec or so, ive also seen a aeromotive fpr pressure go down quickly
