Getting ready to do a full tune up. New to the Import world... I'm used to working on domestic cars. Pontiac, Ford, Dodge ect.. And I know I have had a few cars that didn't like certian spark plugs. AKA the GM LD9. For example.. I changed the sparkplugs to a NGK V power in the quad 4 and it began missing directly after. CHanged from the NGK's to a set of autolite platinums and problem solved. So what is the best/best priced plug I could get for my S13 with the KA24DE?

NGK V-Power copper for my KA24E. Best bang for the buck and tremendous power.

I'm not running a turbo and don't plan to. This car is just a nice daily driver project. If I want power thats what my 72 cutlass is for lol. I'm not into 4 cylinder race cars.

They're a bit pricey for some plugs, 4 V-Power coppers don't even cost more than $10 usually.

Plus they're already gapped at the median (optimum) range. .040 to KA24E spec. Just because they're platinum tipped doesn't necessarily mean they'll perform any better

Right. The main reason I was wanting to go with a platnum is because they last a little longer. But I may just take the NGK copper rt

i only recommend 2 plugs

street cars that get lots of daily driving BKR7EIX-11 (iridium 7's good idle, good on cold weather, good spark) they last forever, ran them for over 25K on boosted cars before without any issues about 8.50 per plug.
Track cars BCPR7ES (Copper plug, change every time you change your oil, they will burn the electrode off and toss it out the exhaust before they do any damage in case of pre ignition / knocking) downside is they don't last very long but they are cheap about 3$ per plug.
