For those of you who installed and are using the godspeed gen 2 ruca, did you guys run into any problems? For me I ran into a couple. For one, It seems like its sitting really close to the subframe with how it sits right now, If i raise the rear a bit will that avoid it from hitting it?

And now my main concern is, how it fits. I wasn't able to put it in with both of those things that the bolt goes through, I don't know what its called but i took a picture of it.

Would it be safe to drive it with just one side of it on? I mean its not moving or going anywhere right? Heres a pic for reference, and its not completely bolted down in the pic yet, As I wanted to take a few quick pics. To get some help on here.

Any input or opinions is greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance!

Ohh snap! Thanks I didn't even know I put them backwards thanks alot. As for the spacer issue maybe I could use a washer between. But I'm still not sure if that's even safe.

I wouldn't use them without the misalignment spacers. Try sending them back or asking for the correct sized spacers. If you can't do that then you might try to check midwest control, coleman racing, or even qa1 to see if they have something with the correct dimensions.

baha. I almost pissed my pants laughing at the picture of it missing the spacer.

normally the arms with spacers like that comes with 2 sets: 1 for s13 and 1 for s14, pretty sure those are the s13 spacers as they are the longer ones.

I'm pretty sure that the S13 ones would be shorter. If I remember correctly the spacers need to be 45mm on the S13 and 50mm on the S14.

Well I emailed godspeed about the spacers so let's see what they have to say. Hopefully they can replace them with smaller ones if not ill just grind them a bit to make them work.

Qa1 looks like it has the spacers, now only if I could get the correct dimensions for the s14 rods :/

I had to force the mount open slightly to get my gen 1 arms to fit in the slot. I used 2 bolts facing inward with nuts on the inside of the brackets to push it open, but it was no where near as far off as yours looks. Mine was only like 2mm tight, not 10.

Yea I was thinking of opening up the mount to get it fit but that's a huge opening I would have to do. If all else fails I might just grind the spacers down a bit to fit.

well im lead to believe so it was probably broken beffore all of this..
recently my rear gas been jumping around so today after wokr i pulled my car on my alignment rack at work (infiniti) and chekced my alignment. i noticed rom last time the camber changed 3.5deg L and 2.5 R it what it read this time.
i was adjusting the right side and i turned the wrench about 1 full turn and it SNAPPED, there wasnt really any tension either. i noticed the left side after i adjusted it (i did this side before the right.) and after the last few little adjustments it started to flop around.
a buddy of mine , recently, his friend was driving on the highway to the shop and his RUCA snapped and his car totaled. smashed against the k rail.
plus there RUCA are to much of a pain to adjust. personally all the other arms are ok by me(v2) ad i have had NO issues behind it. but the RUCA i would not run. and ALL the arm on my car are about 4 months old AND i got them TEMPORARILY and i will never do it again with there RUCA.

These are for s14 chassis, but truly it doesn't matter:-/. Just imagine if I went to a damn track event. I know some people can't afford it but SPL arms look the best construction and the specs on them are better than battle version. BUT BV is in Pomona so it's pretty local. Some people may not see spending 2-300$ per arm is worth it but you get what you pay for. You'd be better with oem at the point. Best of luck to you dude. Just be carful when adjusting thE RUCA. Any questions just shoot me a pm or reply here.

Picked up the SPL RUCA and it's worth the money and the quality you can see. Honestly it was about 312$ BUT you don't feel bad about spending it because QUALITY you can see. Worth it.
