^ Not fully true. you can use stock 240 axles on a J30 differential, depending on the year its out of.

Pre 1995 Infiniti J30: Have 5 bolts in a star pattern
1995+ Infiniti J30: Have 6 bolts in 3 groups of 2

Only difference between the axles for the ones that are the same bolt pattern is the J30 axles are thicker

how many have you encountered? and i have to do research my self evrey "s13" i seen are 6 bolts :smash:

I know that S13's are 6 bolt, I was saying depending in the year J30 the diff is out you don't have to swap axles, you can use the stock S13 axles.

just out of curiosity, if you dont mind my asking, why arent you parting out axles?
