SR20DET: High idle & occasionally dies on deaccel

Hey Zilvia,

I have a S14 SR20DET and at operating temperatures it idles at around 1200. It seems to be running rich. I couldn't find any boost leaks, would it be the IACV? It also has a hard time catching itself sometimes after deaccel or when I put it in neutral(so it dies). Any ideas?

Check IACV.

adjust it(iacv) or check for leaking b.o.v under throtle aka try a buddys bov that works for sure

This sounds like my problem too. what bov are you running? It will sometimes idle at 800-900 but most of the time 1200 with a rough sound. Ive tried damn near everything. Ive tightend my BOV and it works no prob for like a day then goes back to the way it was. try a bov and let me know

Try for leaks behind the battery tray. mine was rubbing can caused a hole that I could not see.
Block up the Intercooler and pressure test the system. You will find a leak.
