Hey,

I am just completing a manual swap on my 1993 S13, with Ka24de engine. I want to swith to a manual ECU to match the 1992 manual transmission and lower harness, but the info on how to choose the right one for the car is very hard to find, and I have done much searching on this.

Could someone help me out with finding out which ECU I should get to match this swap? They are all numbered, and there are alot of different numbers. I am thinking 24 is the right one, but I have yet to find any solid info confirming this.

If someone could tell me which one they have in a 93 or 92 manual ka, that would help alot!

thanks

You know that it is not absolutely necessary to change the ecu. My 240 runs fine with the swap being done to it and i left the automatic ecu in. Never had an issue. i felt it was unnecessary to switch it and spend money on something when the auto one works alright. :)

if you do a 5 spd swap from auto you are ok with your current ecu.
