So I am currently building up my Kouki and swapping a S14 SR20DET, into a automatic S14. I was told that the automatic drive shaft is not compatible with the SR20det. So my question is what is the cheapest route to go with the drive shaft? I am also going from a open diff to a 2way(Tomei). Any information would be appreciated.
Last question how can you tell where the ABS is located under the hood? Here is a picture of my engine

I think the auto driveshaft is compatible with the sr20, but not 100% sure do some more research if not i have a manual driveshaft i can sell to you. The abs would be located right behind the passenger shock tower looks to me like your car is non abs.

You need the driveshaft to go with your transmission and differential:
5-speed Non-ABS
5-speed ABS
Auto Non-ABS
Auto ABS
This assumes you're using a stock SR Trans. If you are, a driveshaft from a KA car with the same combination as yours (5-speed Non-ABS, 5 speed ABS, etc) will drop in.
Or you can buy a one piece driveshaft from somewhere, it's not rocket science.

Is the 2-way in it's own housing or are you going to put it into the housing currently in the car? If it's in it's own housing make sure that it's not an abs housing. And then just get the 5-speed non abs driveshaft.

Dont forget that its also chassis specific...you can't use S13 shafts on S14s.
