Whats up everyone.

I need a bit of help. I was trying to install some SPL Solid Subframe bushings in my S13 subframe today. I got most, if not all of the rubber out from the factory bushings, and when it came time to take the factory ring out, THE THING WOULD NOT FUCKING BUDGE.

Here are some images for those that do not know what exactly I am talking about.

Sorry for the really shitty images. Anyway, I am aware that for me to install these solid bushings successfully, that piece of shit ring needs to come out. I tried and tried with a dead blow hammer and a make shift chisel, but no dice.

Ill admit though, the angle was weird, and I might have to try again at a not so ridiculous angle, but do any of you have any creative ways to get this piece of shit out.

Cheers!!

You are supposed to cut it with a sawzall and then it will come right out.

Make sure now to cut into the outer metal tho. Just the inner sleeve!
