Garrett GT3076R aka GT30R

Selling my used GT3076R which is also known as GT30R Ball Bearing Turbo. This turbo is rated up to 520hp. T3 Flanged with V-Band .82 A/R exhaust housing. Exhaust housing has also been ceramic coated. Turbo is externally waste gated. Water and oil cooled. Little to no shaft play. I've personally never ran the turbo so no warranty provided with purchase. Sent turbo to Boost Lab in Tampa, FL for them to look over turbo and make sure everything was torqued to spec. Everything checked out and looked good to Boost Lab. I was going to use the turbo myself but decided to go with bigger setup. Looking for $900 shipped or $850 local pickup. If shipped tracking number and insurance on package will be provided.
-Willing to trade for s13 silvia aero bumper with grills and lights attached. Don't need anything else so no other trades will be considered.

I'm no expert on the subject but based off my research and just off the top of my head I think the gt did have antisurge. Heck just google pictures and most gt3076r that appear have the antisurge. And the p/n on the turbo pulls up a gt3076r not gtx3076r.

its a garrett gt3076r with antisurge. its not the gtx model. the gtx model has a billet compressor wheel.

this is a gtx3076r. it has a billet compressor wheel. look at the compressor wheel on this one. its the regular compressor wheel. the billet compressor wheel is lighter which will spool faster. i've owned both a gt35r with anti surge and a gtx3582r.

What you say may be true about the newer "gtx" series turbos. The X may designate antisurge for that series but what I'm saying is there was antisurge turbos before the gtx series came about. Gtx wasn't the first antisurge to release if that makes sense.

gt3076r = ball bearing gt3076

Well, your class is wrong. GTX turbos all have billet compressor wheels, hence the X stands for a "billet compressor wheel" in comparison to a GT turbo. Antisurge compressor housings are OLD technology, and were the norm in any GT series turbos from the GT3076R and up. This is the most common GT3076R compressor housing setup Garrett sold.

Besides, GTX comp wheels use full height blades, this clearly has half height blades, and is a cast compressor wheel.

3076 had anti surge. 3071 (Similar size) did not. #1 way to pick the 2 out from each other.
