I did mine, loved it but couldn't get lock to lock fast enough on the track.
There are DIY and pulley delete how to's all over the place.

You can "convert" it, but it's still not the same as a genuine manual rack.

The gearing in an s13 rack isn't very good if you run it as a manual. :s101:

I have an s13 rack that was "converted" to manual. I dont know how well it was done or what not. But it was intended for use. hit me up if your interested
