A guy I bought some wheels from said he would trade a complete ca18det long block w/ coil packs, alternator, flywheel, and ca transmission for my 4 eagle rods and 2 cp pistons for ka24de. He said no one in the area has offered him a reasonable cash offer. I'm tempted to jump all over this but I wanted to post here first.

Would you also like us to wipe your ass for you?

At 22 years old, you should be able to make your own decisions and not rely on others to give you an answer with such little information. Check the condition of the CA and if you want or need it, do it. But be warned, CA aftermarket support is nothing compared to the KA/SR.

Plain and simple, do you like these wheels? If you do, dont trade. CA is capable of decent power but unless your packin' benjamins most of it is going to have to be custom made. Do you know how to weld? Will you be able to do most of the work yourself? These things are what youre going to have think about before trading. Absolutely no aftermarket support for the CA...

If you must ask random strangers if you should do something or not, all signs point to NO.

Why should we tell you what to do with your own car?
