View Full Version : looking 4 trustworthy shop/mechanic

I'm looking for a shop or mechanic that can get my car running again. My car has been sitting in my garage collecting dust for over a year now & with a new baby on the way, I know I wll not have time to work on it myself.

Car: 95 240 w/ built KA24DET, T4 57 trim, ported/polished head.
Problem: Head gasket blew, replaced it then BC exhaust cam cracked, and valves bent.
I got a spare 95 KA24DE head & oe cams and want to get valvetrain swamped into ported/polished head and finally get to drive my car again.

Located in Beaumont/Banning area and I want something in the IE but am more than willing to tow the car LA or OC area to the right shop.

Sorry.. I am not in the business of giving bad names... Just facts .. The whole pie hole thing is uncalled for .. What are we 12?

I have a 1998 Infiniti q45. I need engine work and body work. I live in high desert area hesperia /victorville, but I'm open to any shops in the ie etc.

Well engine work and body work will be 2 different shops. Nick is a great engine guy and very meticulous on his builds .. Here's a bit of info on nick

I have a body shop that does phenomenal work, they work on Lamborghini, Route 66 classics, full custom cars etc. they are about 20 minutes west of where I'm located.

as far as the engine work you need on your Q45 PM me details and we can take care of it.

Also take note that JWT use's Nick as an engine builder in the MotoIQ write up .. JWT has only ever used 2 Engine Builders they can trust.. Mike Smith and Nick Hunter .. BOTH build with unquestionable quality ..

As far as a Body Shop .. PM Doug200t .. He has a body guy that does a awesome job and is very reasonable ... I want to say he painted one of our other buddys car's for around 1000.00 and its looks VERY good ..
