On the way: 18x8.5 +25 18x9.5 +30
Choice 1: 225/40/18 F 245/40/18 R
Choice 2: 245/35/18 F 265/35/18 R

These tires are for street only, i hate bulge, and dont want too much of a stagger. I like the way wide tires look. Saw some 225s on a jetta today and it was weaksauce.

Help me decide!

What chassis? I'm guessing S13 but you never know...

I say choice 1, choice 2 is going to be hard to fit.

Rather than basing it on looks... why don't you consider the PERFORMANCE factor? I hope you're making at least 300whp/tq to run 265s in the back!
Of the two, 225/245 is obviously the lesser of two evils... unless, of course, you have a 500hp beast of an SR.

Ok, I still pick choice 1. :)
I also have 8.5 F and 9.5 R with 215/45 and 235/40, you can see how the rear looks here (http://images.cardomain.com/member_images/3/web/459000-459999/459548_61_full.jpg) (It's big so I'll just post a link). 225 and 245 would look good too, with a slight stretch.

because ultimate performance doesnt matter when you plan to never use something on a track. I have an entirely different setup in mind for track.
I'm completely aware of the fact that 265's arent very well matched to my power output with n/a KA. power mods (i.e. swap) are in the planning stages, but i probably STILL wouldnt run them on track.
:D

choice 1, or 245's all around.

I think you'll run into fitment issues with 265's. They'll probably rub all over the place.

What does the rest of your suspension look like?

stuff going on with wheels:
tein flex
spl tension rods
spl subframe collars
other than that, stock

I would be worried about the front. Get some more pictures of your friends.

You need to lower the rears a lot... I'm talking at least an inch or two! that looks way too high.
Do you have an LSD of some sort? ... that should be up there too.
I think 235 all 'round sounds like a good compromise... with your above setups you'll just understeer like a mother!!
I can picture myself driving your car... trying to bust a U-turn at an intersection and instead ploughing right into oncoming traffic. LOL

I guess since I'm the only one who posted a pic you're talking about my car. You're right it does look really high in that picture, I don't know why, but there's only about a one finger gap... I still want to lower it some more though :naughty:
I don't have a LSD yet, it's on the (long) list though. :)

Here's a picture of the whole car from another thread, also 8.5 +25 and 9.5 +30... linky (http://www.zilvia.net/f/attachment.php?attachmentid=5919)
